The friendly staff. The central location.
The vague information. The hotel allows dogs (which is great), and the hotel page says the hotel has a private beach. I automatically thought that the beach was run by the hotel, so the same policies would apply, and I would be able to take my dog for a good swim. Actually, no. The beaches ( both of them) are run by different companies/people, and they are not private to the hotel's guests. The admins of both beaches refused my dog and told me to tie it to an umbrella, which I refused. Other beaches also refused my dog (a small dog of 15 kilograms and super friendly and quiet). Only after a small bribe to one of the security guys on one of the beaches I sneeked my dog in and actually, all the beach guests loved her and took photos with her swimming. So if you are a dog owner going there for your dog, think again. The beaches in the hitel's area are not dog friendly. The Mashrabia Beach, which the hotel gives you free tickets to, is not specific to the hotel guests and is also terrible even for humans: dirty, small, and crowded. As for the facilities: the bathroom was not clean and it very old. Some simple and cheap things can make it better: better cleaning, more lights, more toiletries, and a trash bag? The beds were too bad, too. I couldn't get good sleep with the uncomfortable mattress and the worn-out pillows.

What was the highlight of Elaria Hotel
Good place for adventurers
I liked the location of the hotel, the quietness and cleanliness of the room and the toilet, and its closeness to the beaches and other areas of interest. It is a suitable place if you gonna spend your day outside discovering the city. There is also a nice roof that overlooks the Red Sea, if you wanna spend the night at the hotel. On breakfast, there were good varieties of food. It was a value added. I can't forget the hospitality of the staff, especially Mr. Nagi of kind manner, who welcomed us on our arrival and till our departure.
I wished if there was a private covered parking area due to the hot weather. There is only one elevator that serves the residents of the hotel. I wished that if there was an elevator for every zone of the hotel, then you wouldn't need to go up and down between stairs and the single elevator.
